8. College Week (SoCSIT Style)

Every student awaits their own "College Week" and this time, it arrived upon us Computer Science and Information Technology students here in Asia Pacific College. In our block (SS152 / CN151 / DF151), we are only a few, but we always have a good time whenever we are together. We may be the least, but we can be the noisiest. During the SoCSIT (School of Computer Science and Information Technology) week, we joined the activites that are prepared for us (mostly freshmen). The SoCSIT week started with the "Banner Competition". The struggle we made just to make our banner measures our "teamwork", IMAGINE, while we're delivering our speeches for our Public Speaking class, we are coloring out banner... By the way, the banner was drawn during our first class (Math Enrichment Program)!! And it was colored during our second subject (Public Speaking). When we finished the banner. we immediately ran downstairs towards the parking lot, and surprisingly, the banners of the other blocks we're not as good as ours, so, we are filled with excitement because we are expecting to win the said "Banner Competition" but unfortunately, the winners of the competition we're not announced.

Next memorable event during the SoCSIT week is the sportsfest where 2 of my classmates (Marc Anthony Nares and Lean Nasser Carreon) played in the basketball game and they won their first match! Next is the IT Quiz where, I, (Marc Adrian Jimenez), Yesha Ann Alfafara, and Loumar Alexis Rivera competed, and luckily, we won third place and won a 200 pesos worth Krispy Kreme gift certificate. Next is the "30 seconds of Fame or Shame", where we (Me, Sherine Jane Coronel, Katrina Jade Umayao, Janella Macabugao. and Yesha Ann Alfafara) danced and won second place! There is a 300 pesos worth of cash price and it comes with a paper bag filled with 5 Afficionado perfumes that made us sad because the perfumes doesn't smell good. Next is the "Mall of Asia trip to Ice Skating Trip real quick", we arrived there just to roam around the mall, but when my 2 blockmates, namely Yesha Alfafara and Katrina Umayao, saw the Ice Skating rink, they suddenly forced us to ice skate... I myself was excited but I also declined the invite, but they really insisted that we should Ice Skate! (They are even willing to lend us money so we can come) In the end, all of us joined the Ice Skating...
