15. アニメ

ア = A
ニ = NI
メ  = ME

Anime, a shortened form of Animation. Anime is the Japanese version of Cartoons, in-short, Anime is Japanese Cartoons (shut up weaboos). In my highschool days, I've been hooked up with it, I would choose watching anime rather than reviewing my notes, but this time that I'm in college, I stopped watching anime for the sake of passing. Ever since my friends introduced Anime to me, I started liking it. But anime is like cartoons to, so they have genres. These are the different genres of anime.

1. ACTION
   - Anime filled with body movements, intense battles and fabulous battle cries. Whenever you watch action-packed animes, you wont get bored because the audio and sound effects of their battles are extreme. I always adored the background music when they are fighting, because it sounds so cool and mature (hehe). Examples of these kinds of anime is : FairyTail, Naruto, Sword Art Online

2. GORE
   - This kind of anime is filled with BLOOD... Blood, killing, assasinations, accidents, etc. these kind of anime is my favorite type because it makes me feel alive. It's so cool seeing blood everywhere, it's raining blood. But some of these kinds have epic plots too, that's why I love them. Blood + Cool Plot. Examples of these kinds of anime is : Tokyo Ghoul, Corpse Party

3. PSYCHOLOGICAL
   - This kind of anime makes the viewer THINK. It's filled with mysteries that will soon be exposed as you keep on watching the anime. Examples are : Another, Mirai Nikki, Danganronpa

4. COMEDY
   - This kind of anime hones the viewers Logic and Humor. Comedy animes are mostly Rom-Com (Romantic Comedies) because it would be a waste to make a fun-filled anime if there are no love teams. When the anime is Rom-Com, I somehow find them CORNY but still, I watched some Rom-Com's like Nisekoi, Chuunibyou demo Koi gai Shitai, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

5. DRAMA
   - i dont know what to say about this genre. Well, it's all about the FEELS. Drama anime has the best plot because if the plot is not good, how would it make you shed tears. Example of this FEELSORAMA anime is : Angel Beats, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai

Well, these are the different genres of anime. There are more, but unfortunately, I'm clueless about them because I mostly watch those (the genres I have listed above) genres of anime.

14. Kalyeserye

          "Sa Tamang Panahon" (In the right time)

Kalyeserye *Kalye (streets) + Serye (series)*
      A series made in the streets

Kalyeserye is an online series that is also a segment in the show Eat Bulaga! wherein the trending love-team called #AlDub (Alden + Yaya Dub) started.

The #AlDub loveteam started off as a joke where as Alden is a host in a segment called "That's my Bae" and Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza) in the segment called "Juan for All, All for Juan : Bayanihan of d' Pipol". The main host (Tito, Vic, Joey, and Allan K) teased them with each other. And the next thing they knew, they became a famous love team -- well, who wouldnt fall with Alden Richard's irresistible smile?! Then it continued, more characters came in like the Rogelio's (Lola Nidora's Body guards), Frankie Amoy Arinolli, DuhRizz, etc. but #AlDub's love for each oter didnt fade. Even though Lola Nidora forced Yaya Dub to marry Frankie Arinolli for the price of 51,000,500.00 pesos, Yaya Dub still admires Alden.

It is amazing on how a show makes a lot of people feel like teenagers again. They can feel that kilig once again. By just watching them act, you can feel happy, and sometimes, makes you believe in forever. But what makes them really kakilig-kilig is unknown. Is it just because they have the chemistry? or is it that their love story reflects the same love story that most of the viewers felt (forbidden love)? Well, I'm not that of a fan of this series but still, when I watch those online episodes uploaded by the official facebook page of Eat Bulaga!, I can always feel that kilig...

Alden's love to Yaya Dub is tested by Lola Nidora where Lola Nidora tells Alden to do those tasks so he can finally meet Yaya Dub. But still, they havent seen each other in person...And that's what the people want to happen... So I assume that the people want someone like Alden... Someone that would do everything just to make your parent/guardian approve of your relationship. So we can say that Alden is the Ideal Man for all the girls out there. But what about Yaya Dub? is she the Perfect girl for everyone out there? (We'll talk about Yaya Dub, not Maine Mendoza) Yaya Dub is just working for Lola Nidora because she's repaying her debts (utang na loob) to Lola Nidora for keeping her. Besides that, all of us can say that Yaya Dub is Gorgeous. When we saw her wearing that wedding gown, it really brings out her beauty but unfortunately, she fainted at that time... But, Yaya Dub is not perfect but I myself would make her the image of a "Wife".

13. Anti-Smoking Campaign

Well, I am not a smoker, but there are times that I would like to try, but of course I wont. I dont smoke, so I'm not affected with this "Anti-Smoking" campaign... But what about those who smoke? I have friends that smoke, and I myself tells them to stop smoking...

Why do people smoke in the first place?! I talked to some of my friends and all of them gave the same reason on why they smoke...

            They SMOKE because of STRESS/PROBLEMS.

They told me that SMOKING  is somehow a STRESS RELIEVER... It's as if when they breathe the smoke out, their problems come out with the smoke... Yes, it can be a stress reliever for them, but how about the people around them? How about planet earth? The smoke itslef is very harmful for them (smokers), us (non-smokers), and this planet we are living in.

It would be helpful for them when they smoke because it can relieve their stress, but what about their body? Is it healthy for them to take it? Well, no one could stop them... But we can help them stop, but the decision would still fall in their hands if they would stop smoking or not. So I'm 50/50 in this "Anti-Smoking Campaign". 50% YES because I would of course, want them to stop smoking, 50% NO because it would be useless if we make a campaign like this because of course, they would still find a way to smoke because sometimes, smoking became a part of their life, its like a part of their cycle.

What I'm thinking about is that we should hold seminars, and like, you can sign-up for a program that will help the smoker to control his smoking, it's like a one on one session (that would probably last for a month) to control the smokers smoking, it's a long and slow process, but it can help... The smoker itself should sign up becuase it would be their CHOICE to stop smoking. Its somehow like a rehab, but the Guidance Councilors of the school would operate. The officials of the schools should help them (not that I'm treating "SMOKING" as a disease), it's just to show them that these adults are willing to give their hands to help them change.

12. ALL TIME LOW

                                     Continuation of "We Built this City on Rock n' Roll"

After The Maine's performance, All Time Low -- what we've all been waiting for -- finally took the stage. Silence filled the arena while the lights are closed, and the strum of a guitar triggered the screams of the audience and suddenly, the lights opened blinding us, and when the lights lowered, we can clearly see them on stage. They performed and every song, they do spiels, like asking us how do we feel, and they always makes a smooth intro to the next song, it's like the pace they are using is very suave. They kept on singing, singing, singing, until someone threw a bra towards the stage (throwing bra's in an All Time Low concert is somehow a tradition) and Jack Barakat (the bands Lead Guitarist) took the bra and placed it on his microphone stand. They are so perverted -- especially Jack -- but they gave us a warning that we should not do the things that they do because they are bad people (with a sarcastic tone). They threw picks and water bottles on the crowd ( VIP Area ) and MAN, THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO MANAGE A CROWD REAL WELL... And after I guess 15 songs, they told us that that's their last song for the night (Something's Gotta Give), and of course ALL OF US DISAGREED because at that time probably, NO ONE WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE. ALL OF US WOULD STAY THERE FOREVER, LISTENING AND SINGING TO THEIR SONGS. But after 1 minute, they went back to stage and all of us are screaming, and every song, we are waiting for their song "Dear Maria, Count me In" (their most popular song) because you can't call that an "All Time Low" concert if they didnt performed that song. When I heard the first 4 beats of the next song that they would perform, I thought to myself, "Is this their song?" and my instincts we're right because its "American Idiot" by Greenday!! So I laughed and just sang to it. We're still waiting for "Dear Maria, Count me In". And when that moment arrived, (All Time Low playing Dear Maria Count Me In LIVE) I'M overflowing with happiness because first, I can finally go home (it's almost 12:00 and I have 7:30 classes tomorrow), and they will finally sing it. After the concert, we immediately went home and they drop me of near my house, and I walked home (2-minute walk). When I got home, I probably slept at 1:30 AM because my blood still rushes through my body.

11. "The Maine"

I have nothing much to talk about "The Maine" because of 2 reasons... First, I have never heard of them, I dont know them... Second, I dont know their songs... So, I'll just mainly talk about my impressions on their songs and their performance.

The Maine is the first band that performed prior to All Time Low. When they started singing, you can really feel their emotions through the articulation of their voices. But I just literally stood there, listening and watching them perform -- because I dont know them AND their songs -- but I was impressed when they are performing because even though they did'nt do a lot of spiels, they still managed to make the crowd scream. And I guess that the one that spoke earlier, the one who said that the program wont proceed until all of us are all seated is from the Maine. During that moment wherein the people immediately rushed to their seats I thought that "What if HE was the president?", he could manipulate crowds... If you are famous, you can manipulate a lot of people... Manipulating people means you are powerful ; the more you manipulate people, the powerful you are. I HAVE NO IDEA THAT A BAND CALLED "The Maine" EXISTED... They are famous... Why is that? As they continued their singing, I continued to admire their music and I'm starting to move my body, following their rythm, predicting the next beat... It's like their music captured my body. Their songs? I find them interesting but there are some notes that makes the rythm awkward... The members? Let's start with the Vocalist, all Rockbands have Hot/Goodlooking vocalists, their Vocalist, John O'Callaghan, is somehow similar to Panic! At the Disco's vocalist, Brandon Urie. Their Bassist, the hyper Garrett Nickelsen is the most eye catching of them all. Why? Because during their performance, he keeps on jumping aroung the stage (hahaha). I forgot about the rythm guitarist and the other one because I focused too much about those 3... Oh, I forgot, the last one, The Shining Drummer, Pat Kirch... He is so epic, he is so good and the way his hair whips throught the air while he is playing the drums is SOOOOO COOL :)

When the concert ended, my playlist was filled with their songs because I got fed up with All Time Low songs so for a change, I played non-stop The Maine songs :)

10. We Built this City on Rock 'n Roll

Heavy Beat and Simple Melodies, those are the characteristics of Rock and Roll music... Whenever I hear the beat of the drums and the strums of the guitars supported by the bass, I would instantly call that "Rock Music".

A lot of rock bands came across my lives like "Greenday", "My Chemical Romance", "Paramore"
"Mayday Parade", "Fall Out Boys", etc... But there are some solo rock artists too like the rock turned pop "Avril Lavigne"... But last week, I attended the concert of "The Maine" and "All Time Low"... I dont know a lot about "The Maine" and I'm not an avid fan of "All Time Low" either... But I've been much more exposed to "All Time Low" compared to "The Maine" (That I really dont have an idea). My ticket was my friends "birthday gift" to me so I was very happy when she told me the plan...

Weeks came and I prepared... My playlist played endless "All Time Low" songs (Because I am planning to memorize them but unfortunately, I have a lot of stuff to do that's why I only managed to memorize a few) but still, I AM EXCITED.

I went to my friends place and ate a lot before we left (because the concert will start at 8:30PM and will end at probably 11:00PM)... When we arrived at the MOA Arena, there are A LOT OF PEOPLE WEARING BLACK... It's as if they are going to a burial or something, but what do I expect? it is a Rock Concert, and of course, a lot of "EMO" people would come... (Good thing my outfit that night only has minimal black in it -- compared to the others that came)

We went inside the MOA Arena and me and my friend went straight to Starbucks to buy 2 cups of Coffee Jelly (our all time favorite) and went to our seats (reserved seating). When we got there, a lot of people are already inside, most of them are standing and waiting for the concert to start until someone besides us screamed and is looking at the seats right above us, we also looked at the same direction and we saw ALL TIME LOW... They we're just sitting there, watching us... I WAS SO STARSTRUCKED THAT I FORGOT TO TAKE THEIR PICTURE... At that time, I was very ecstatic, all my blood are rushing all throughout my body. The people downstairs -- in the VIP Area -- are screaming "All Time Low - All Time Low" so all of us followed their lead until everyone is screaming. But a voice -- I dont know from who -- said that "The Program wont proceed until everyone is seated" (British Accent) so everyone started to rush to their seats. When the whole arena is calmed down, the lights closed, and everyone screamed and the next thing I new is the spotlight is focused at the Vocalist of the band "The Maine"...

                                         To be continued ...
